Rudbeckia triloba - Brown-eyed Susan
Small, numerous yellow daisies on a short-lived perennial. A short-lived but self-seeding perennial that has yellow daisies in the late summers. A good plant for naturalizing as it can spread. The plant branches as it grows and flowers are smaller but more numerous than other rudbeckias. The flowers are well shaped with a brown center.
Larval host for the Gorgone Checkerspot and Bordered Patch butterfly.
