Oenothera speciosa - Pink Evening Primrose

This showy, drought-tolerant primrose can quickly spread by rhizomes to form large colonies. Its bowl-shaped flowers will open at dusk and close in the early morning. While this primrose thrives in full sun and moist soil, it can also grow in shady spots with poor soils.
