Eutrochium d. 'Little Joe' - Joe Pye weed
At a height of only 3-4 feet, Little Joe fits nicely into the middle to rear of the flower border or even in large containers.
Eutrochium dubium is the dwarf species of Joe-Pye weed, native in moist soils from Maine south to South Carolina which is tolerant to light shade. Its 4' tall stems are topped in midsummer with dome-shaped heads of lavender flowers that attract butterflies.
