Eryngium yuccifolium - Rattlesnake master
Eryngium yuccifolium starts off a beautiful shade of blue and as Summer approaches, sturdy stems with spherical flower clusters form. The shape of this herbaceous perennial is very curious and unique. Prefers dryish and sandy soil and does not like to be disturbed once established. Attracts butterflies and native bees.
