Rhizomatous perennial grass with leaves that vary from hairless to slightly hairy. Can tolerate high levels of aluminum, acidic soil and infertile soil. Wonderful bright green grass that can adapt to both part shade and sunny wet areas. Foliage dies back and acts as groundcover for the Winter.
