A member of the mint family, this perennial grows quickly and blooms purple, clustered flowers that attract mainly butterflies. Drought tolerant, fragrant flowers, and great for pollinator gardens! Prefers dry, shallow, rocky soil. Great border plant as well.
Form 'frost flowers' at first strong- sap is pushed out of cracks in the stem, and resemble odd flowers once frozen.
