Anemone canadensis - Canada anemone

A pretty, delicate and showy, spring wildflower that can be grown successfully near streams, ponds or water gardens.

Anemone canadensis is a perennial which produces a spectacular bloom of white flowers from April to June. It is native to river margins and low moist meadows and prefers a site that is protected from strong winds because of the delicate flower stalks.

The name ‘Anemone’ comes from Greek meaning 'windflower'.
