Fragaria virginiana - Wild Strawberry

This perennial, native to North America, is a low-lying plant that blooms in late spring/early summer, providing some early flowers to your garden and delicious fruit! Fragaria virginiana is also a resilient plant, able to grow in a variety of conditions. While it doesn't grow very tall, it can spread quite far with its stolons. The seeds and fruit of this plant also attract a variety of birds.
