Symphyotrichum cordifolium - Blue wood aster

A crowd favorite. This shade-loving aster has soft and gentle-looking blue blooms, providing resources for pollinators during the fall. Blue wood aster is a showy herbaceous perennial that produces blooms attractive to butterflies. It easily self seeds and grows well in full sun to part shade.
